No. The endorsement still goes in the student's logbook, the way it always has. CFI Endorse Log is your own record, so you're never the one with no proof if a question comes up later.

On your own device. There's no account, no login and no server of ours. If you turn on iCloud Sync (Pro), your records also sync through your own iCloud account. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Since December 1, 2024, flight instructor certificates no longer expire. Instead, your privileges run to your Recent Experience End Date (REED) — the last day of a 24-calendar-month period under 14 CFR 61.197. You renew it with a FIRC or one of the other routes in the rule.

Not if you renew within the 3 calendar months before your REED month — your new REED is 24 months after your old one, so you keep your anniversary. With Pro, the app works this out for you.
